Whey Better Salad Dressing and Sauces was built on purpose, perseverance, and the quiet companionship of one very special pup.
Meet Louis — my shadow, my healer, and the heart behind it all.
When I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2008, life became about survival, motherhood, and managing chronic illness. Through chemo treatments every four months, long nights, and painful days, Louis never left my side. While he’s not a certified service dog, he served me in the most important way — with love, loyalty, and presence.
His companionship inspired something bigger.
Our Mission: Give Back, Whey Better
In Louis’ honor, Whey Better Salad Dressing and Sauces donates 5% of profits to support service dogs for:

A New Leash On Life
Service-related trauma keeps Veterans from living the life they deserve. They fought for our freedom. We fight for theirs. Our primary focus is to restore and support our Veterans who have PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and/or military sexual trauma (MST). For Veterans who are willing to take the first step to regain independence in their life, we are here to help.
Our team supports Veterans by navigating our scientifically proven process, pairing them with a trained Service Dog, and supporting them during and after the program – at no cost to the Veteran.
